Manufacturing and components
Components and materials feed a production line. A missing part can stop the whole line, so the paperwork and the handover points matter as much as the freight. Here is what this cargo needs and how we arrange it.

What this cargo needs
- Parts that arrive in the right order and the right packing, with part numbers on every carton or pallet.
- Documents that describe each item correctly, including origin and value. Customs rely on them.
- Protection against damp, shock and rust for metal parts and electronics.
- A way to bring in goods from several suppliers without several separate shipments.
- Storage near the plant when production uses parts in batches.
- Dangerous goods rules for materials such as adhesives, coatings, solvents or batteries.
How we arrange it
For regular volume we book full container loads or LCL for smaller lots. Supplier pickup and purchase-order consolidation collects parts from several suppliers and prepares them as one shipment.
Between Hong Kong and mainland China we arrange cross-border trucking with licensed cross-boundary carriers. For parts held near the plant we arrange storage and pick, pack and dispatch. Trade documentation is prepared to match the cargo, and customs declarations go through licensed customs brokers.
A typical flow
- You send the parts list, supplier locations, cartons and ready dates.
- We quote the move and say what the quote covers.
- Suppliers hand over parts, or we arrange pickup and consolidation.
- Cargo is booked by sea, air or road, and documents are prepared.
- Customs declarations are coordinated with a licensed broker.
- Cargo is trucked to the plant or to a third-party warehouse.
- We confirm delivery by email and the documents are filed with you.
What to send us
- A parts or material list with descriptions, quantities and values.
- Harmonised System (HS) codes, if you have them. These are the tariff codes customs use to classify goods.
- Supplier names and pickup addresses, with ready dates.
- Carton or pallet counts, sizes and weights.
- Safety data sheets for any chemical or battery content.
- The delivery address and any receiving rules at the plant.
Questions
Can you collect from several suppliers and send one shipment?
Yes. We arrange pickup from each supplier, consolidate the cargo and book it as one move. Send each supplier's address, cargo and ready date.
Do you decide the HS code?
No. The code depends on the product and is declared by the importer or exporter. Licensed customs brokers can advise on it, and we coordinate with them.
