Supplier pickup and purchase-order consolidation

When you buy from several suppliers, we collect from each, check against your purchase orders (POs), and bring the cargo together into one shipment. You get one booking, one set of documents and one delivery instead of many.

What it is

Buying from many suppliers usually means many small shipments. Supplier pickup and PO consolidation joins them. We arrange collection from each supplier, check each lot against your purchase order, hold the cargo at a warehouse we arrange until it is complete or ready, and ship it together.

The result is one booking for the main leg and a combined set of shipping documents. We report what has arrived and what is still missing, so you can decide whether to wait or ship.

When to use it

  • Your orders come from many factories or sellers.
  • Suppliers are in the same area but ship on different days.
  • You want to check cargo against POs before it leaves.
  • You want one container or one air shipment instead of several small ones.
  • You want a single set of documents for customs.

What we handle

  • Collection from each supplier
  • Checking cargo against your purchase orders
  • Booking each supplier's cargo into one shipment
  • A combined set of shipping documents
  • Reports on what has arrived and what is still missing
  • Relabelling or carton marking where agreed

How it runs

  • Quote: you send the supplier list, POs and ready dates. We say what the pickups and the consolidation cover.
  • Pickups: we book the trucks and collect from each supplier on the dates agreed.
  • Receiving: each lot is counted and checked against its PO at the warehouse.
  • Report: we send a list of what has arrived and what is missing or different.
  • Decision: you decide whether to ship now or wait for late lots.
  • Shipment: the cargo is loaded together, documents are prepared, and the main leg is booked and moved.

Good to know

  • One late supplier can hold the whole shipment. Agree early whether to wait or ship without it.
  • Ask each supplier to mark cartons with your PO number and a carton count. It speeds up the check.
  • Pickups in mainland China run with licensed cross-boundary carriers where they cross the boundary.
  • Different suppliers can give different descriptions of the same goods. Align them so the combined invoice and packing list agree. See packing and marking.

Questions

Can you check quality?

We check counts, marks and visible condition against the PO. Quality control against a product specification is a different job and needs its own arrangement.

What if a supplier ships the wrong goods?

We note it in the report, with photos where useful, and you decide what to do.
