Customs and Supply Chain
Cargo moves when its paperwork is right. This category covers the documents, the declarations, the insurance and the planning that sit around the freight. Customs declarations go through licensed customs brokers. Insurance is arranged with insurers. We are not an insurer or a customs broker.

Customs declarations coordination
We coordinate customs and trade declarations with licensed customs brokers at origin and destination. We pass them the documents they need and keep the declaration in step with the shipment.
When to use it. Cargo crosses a border and needs an export or import declaration.

Trade documentation
Trade documents tell carriers, customs and buyers what the cargo is. We prepare and check them against the cargo.
When to use it. You ship without an in-house shipping desk, or you want a second check before documents go out.
- CS-03
Cargo insurance arranged with insurers
Cargo insurance covers loss or damage to goods in transit. We arrange cover with insurers. Ayer Shipping is not an insurer.
When to use it. Your goods are valuable, the Incoterm leaves risk with you in transit, or the buyer or the bank asks for cover.

Supplier pickup and purchase-order consolidation
When you buy from several suppliers, we collect from each, check against your purchase orders (POs), and bring the cargo together into one shipment.
When to use it. Your orders come from many factories or sellers and you want one booking, one set of documents and one delivery.

Freight procurement and supply chain review
For importers who want their freight looked at. We review how you buy and move freight, list what each lane costs and needs, and put options in writing.
When to use it. You import regularly, are unsure whether your routes and terms still make sense, or want quotes compared like for like.
Send the cargo details
If the paperwork is the problem, send the documents you have and tell us what is missing.
